At easykind, our goal is to provide the most cost-effective access and the most patient-focused service in the alternative healthcare industry. All our staff, from our administrative team to our amazing doctors and nurse practitioners, embody the ethos of “by patients for patients”.

Transparency is one of our core values, so we feel that it’s important to be upfront with our patients about how we operate, and the standards that we will hold ourselves to throughout your treatment. We hope this equips you with the knowledge to make your own choice.

The alternative healthcare services we provide are fairly simple. At an initial consultation, you will have a discussion with a medical or nurse practitioner to discuss appropriate treatment based on your circumstances. If that involves medication, you may receive a prescription.

Medication

If you are prescribed medication, your practitioner may recommend a medicine that is made by easykind or a related company. If they do, this is because they think it will best fit your needs. They may also recommend a range of other medicines and will work to match the best medicine to your needs and budget.

We know that no two patients are the same, which requires an individualised approach to treatment based on a patient’s preferences, personal circumstances, background and budget. Our medical and nurse practitioners pride themselves on providing an exceptional level of patient care.
Your practitioner receives no incentives for recommending or prescribing an easykind medication. Our formulary contains a range of different brands and practitioners are not restricted in what medications they can recommend. Our practitioners have total autonomy over the treatment of their patients and only choose treatment based on their expertise, available evidence, and your best interests.

If you do not wish to be prescribed an easykind medication, feel free to let our team or your practitioner know, and your doctor or nurse practitioner will be happy to discuss alternative options for you. Your health is in your hands!

Preferred Pharmacy

easykind is not a pharmacy and we don’t dispense medication. However, we have carefully selected a Preferred Pharmacy to dispense any medication that may be prescribed during a consultation. There are three reasons why we do this.

1. Consistent care – Having a preferred pharmacy enables us to ensure consistent patient care. While they are not a part of easykind, we chose them because we know they are a good operator, so we can be as confident as possible that the pharmacy dispensing your medication is doing so ethically and compliantly. It also allows for easy, clear communication between your practitioner and your pharmacist to ensure your medication is both prescribed and dispensed safely.

2. Service quality – It allows us to provide our patients with standardised service quality in relation to any medication ordering and delivery, including through use of the portal. For example, we can be confident about the time it will take from the order being placed, to it leaving the preferred pharmacy, to it arriving at your door. In that way, the ordering experience is as seamless and convenient as possible and if any issues arise, we can make sure it is fixed promptly.

3. Keep costs down. Our business model allows us to operate as a budget clinic, providing the most cost-effective pathway in the industry. This approach allows us to avoid paying distributor fees and the additional administrative work for our team to communicate with alternative pharmacies. We pass all of these savings on to our patients to keep alternative healthcare affordable and accessible.
That is why the use of our preferred pharmacy is part of the easykind experience.

That will not be the best option for everyone, and you are always free to use your pharmacy of choice. We will never withhold your prescription or delay your access to medication if you choose an alternative pharmacy.

If you prefer to use an alternative pharmacy on an ongoing basis, we may charge an administrative fee for the service of communicating with your chosen pharmacy, collating and sending necessary documentation, and to cover the subsidised cost of your consultation.
If you decide we are not the clinic for you, that’s ok too. We will provide you with the documentation you need to minimise any disruption to your treatment.
