1. Complete pre-screening
Your journey with easykind begins with a 3-question pre-screen. This step helps both you and us determine whether alternative healthcare suits you and whether we are the right clinic for you. The pre-screening involves just a few questions. Once completed, a team member from easykind will reach out to discuss the next steps.
2. Book your initial consultation
If you decide to continue with us, it’s time to schedule your initial consultation with one of our caring doctors or nurse practitioners.
Be sure to pay at least 24 hours before your consultation and complete the patient intake form. This will be emailed to you once you complete your booking.
If you haven’t made payment and/or haven’t returned your patient intake form to us at least 24 hours before your consult, your appointment will be automatically cancelled.
3. Complete the patient intake form
The patient intake form gives your doctor or nurse practitioner a thorough understanding of your medical history, which is essential for your consultation. Please answer all questions truthfully; this information is critical to your medical evaluation. The form will be emailed to you upon booking.
4. Consultation day: initial consultation
On the day of your first consultation, all you need to do is be ready to receive a call from your doctor or nurse practitioner at the phone number you provided. Ensure your phone’s volume is up so you don’t miss the call. The initial consultation will last about 30 minutes.
You can find more information here.
5. After your consultation
If prescribed by a doctor or nurse practitioner, medication can be dispensed by a licensed Australian pharmacy in accordance with TGA regulations. Our preferred pharmacy is iHealth Pharmacy.
6. Patient portal
After your initial consultation, you will receive an email with an invitation to activate your patient portal account. When you’ve received the activation link, you can access the portal here.
Make sure to update your contact details under “My profile”, under the profile icon in the top right corner.
7. Follow-up and return consultations
If you’re new to alternative healthcare, our doctors and nurse practitioners often recommend a follow-up consultation after 1 month.
The usual easykind patient has a review consultation after months 1 and 4. After that, they typically see their doctor or nurse practitioner once every 6 months. If you’re a long-term patient, you can expect at least 2 consultations per year.
This may change based on your health needs, budget and personal preferences.
